This resume guideline is provided to help high school students, particularly juniors and seniors as they prepare to enter the workforce. Having a well-written resume is important even if you do not have a lot of work-related experience. Consider including volunteer experience, school-related experiences such as being on the debate team and/or being elected to Student Council as these also show leadership and initiative.
Always present yourself and your qualifications in the best possible way to prospective employers. Make sure you have no typos or grammatical errors and use clean, white, heavy stock paper to print your resume.
