Just be sure you use the key action words that make employers sit up and take notice – as well as using the terms that are specific to your field – and you will make a good impression.
• Keep it real – never is it a good time to lie on your resume. If you pad your resume by including untruths and embellishing your experience, you will be found out sometime. It may be in the interview or it may be on the job – but someone will realize that you didn't tell the truth. That can lead to your getting fired or worse, especially if you lie on a federal document.
