Your Questions and Our Answers
Question from Naveed in Pakistan: I am not satisfied with my objective statement can you please review it over and let me know what you think about it?
"A challenging supervisor/team lead position in operations where my in-depth knowledge and experience of training agents on customer service, selling and collection skills can broaden the base of expertise in your department".
Our Response: Actually, I think it sounds pretty good. I would like you to consider one change:
"A challenging supervisor/team lead position in operations where my in-depth knowledge and experience of training agents in the area of customer service, selling and collection skills can broaden the base of expertise in your department".
You highlight your skills and show how they will benefit the employer, which is exactly what a good objective statement does. You also note that you are interested in a challenge, which leads the employer to believe that you are willing to take initiative and solve problems.
